SMS / Communications Consent Policy

Effective Date: October 6, 2026

SMS and Communications Consent

The Center for Advanced Urology may offer patients and website visitors the option to receive communications by text message, telephone, email, or other electronic methods when appropriate.

By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive communications from the Center for Advanced Urology at the number you provide. These communications may relate to your inquiries, appointments, requests for information, or other healthcare-related communications for which you have provided consent.

Types of Communications

Depending on your preferences and the nature of your interaction with our practice, communications may include:

Appointment-related information and reminders
Responses to inquiries submitted through our website
Follow-up communications related to requests you have made
Information related to services or care you requested
Other administrative or healthcare-related communications for which you have provided appropriate consent

Message content and frequency may vary depending on your interactions with our practice.

Your Consent

When you voluntarily provide your mobile number and select an applicable consent option, you authorize the Center for Advanced Urology and its authorized service providers to send text messages in accordance with your selected preferences and applicable law.

Providing consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving medical treatment or healthcare services.

You may choose not to provide consent to receive SMS communications and may request other available methods of communication.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. The Center for Advanced Urology does not control charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Opting Out of Text Messages

You may withdraw your consent to receive text messages at any time.

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to a text message from the Center for Advanced Urology, when supported by the messaging service. You may also contact our office directly to request removal from SMS communications.

After you opt out, you may receive a final message confirming your request. You will not receive additional text messages unless you subsequently provide consent or otherwise request to resume communications.

You may also reply HELP when supported by the messaging service for assistance with SMS communications.

Please notify the Center for Advanced Urology if your telephone number or other contact information changes. You are responsible for ensuring that the contact information you provide to us is accurate and current.
